This is how I spent my Valentine's Day! :)

yesterday was valentine's day! yay! :) I was looking forward to it since last week because I had this plan to really surprise my boyfriend because i've never done sth like that before. hahaha. that doesn't make me a sucky girlfriend though! Just a lazy yet loving one. hahaha! so yeah when he went to my house early morning, I placed a paper heart on his blouse and told him to wait outside for me. (PS: that paper heart was from Pastor Norman, our church pastor) then tada da da ta da!!!! ^^ I surprised him with a huge red paper heart card with a balloon and flowers around it, and some chocos! :) I knew he'd be shocked! haha! then he was like "awwwwww, baby plum thank thank you gid... ikaw pa lng gid nka pa feel special skun paryus sini.... huhuhu".. awwwww.. I loved this reaction! :) haaaaa.. If only I could turn back time and just see that scene over and over again! Oh man am I so inspired! ha! well.. Thank God for giving me a wonderful L-I-F-E... like really, I just couldn't ask for more! :)

Then we took a picture of us just getting comfortable on the couch.. just talking and laughing.. :) aaaah, just look at me, without any make up on but I still feel like i'm the prettiest because of him. :")

and my love giving didn't just end there.. After that, I went on with my plan to give random people red paper hearts with a note written on it. here is a picture of the paper heart.. :)

so when we went to the bank, I gave the sikad driver one red paper heart.. just look at the pictures! at first he wasn't smiling so happily but when he received the heart he just smiled big time!!! LOOK!

see that? that is what happens when you show people that LOVE is still in this world and that is because of God who is the source of all LOOOOOOVE! ♥

here's another picture of a woman selling food inside jaro plaza..^^ My boyfriend wasnt able to take a photo of me exactly giving the heart but I surely did! ^^

and here is another sikad driver! He looked unkind the first time I saw him but gave him the red paper heart anyways! Then that, in just a blink of an eye changed his mood! He was all smiles and I bet that made his day!

after that a lot of paper heart giving still happened! But then I didnt get to document that anymore because my sis' camera ran out of battery! haha! But it still was fun! ^^ The guards at school whom I gave the paper hearts were totally surprised. That i'm super sure about. ^^ It just melted my heart seeing people smiling after receiving the paper heart.. I think it's not really because of the heart that they're smiling.. I think it's because Jesus had touched their hearts and made them feel that LOVE is just out there..... :)



Thank you Lord, if it wasn't for you, my heart giving project wouldn't have been successful.... ♥

I can't wait for Christmas!

haaaaaaaaaaaaa... just few days ago I was kind of disappointed that I still couldn't feel that Christmas is actually near. BUT NOW! Everything just turned upside down. hahahaha. :D

yay! It's Jesus' birthday and that is just the biggest reason why we all should celebrate and be happy about! :) Isn't that just amazing that he was born so we could one day pray for him to save us? haaaa... ^^ Not only that that fact makes me happy and really ecstatic, my sister from Korea is coming to the Philippines on December 25th too! the thought of having her with all of us this Christmas keeps me upbeat and I can't even sleep early anymore! I can't help but imagine the things we'll all be doing when she finally arrives. hahahaha. ( not to mention the gifts i'll be getting from her. hahahahha )

I can't believe i'm actually doing this. writing in my blog again. hahahahaha. I thought I already lost this feeling of needing to write something in my blog. hahhhhaaahahahahaha. days from now I already know what my next post would be.. hahahahahaha. :)

i was veeeeeeery veeeeeeeeeeery happy yesterday!!!!! (and also very tired i couldnt even write in my blog. hahahaha) haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!! I felt like i was the happiest girl on earth! hahahahaha. :D anyways, here's what happened!!!!!! yesterday morning i was really really mad at my boyfriend because of well, i totally forgot. I was just having moodswings that's all. I was very very harsh, childish, and rude. hahaha.^^ but anyways, that afternoon, in the middle of my Ed-Technology class, he just appeared, gave me a red rose, and said he was reaaaaally sorry he made me mad... haa... I WAS TOTALLY TOTALLY SURPRISED, AND MOOOOOOOVED! :D everyone was like, "uyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy! kilig na nman si sue!". hahahahaha. siiiiiiiiiiiiiigh...^^ Until now i still couldnt get over that sweet sweet moment... I couldnt not believe he is actually that sweet! :D I am not just lucky, i am very very blessed! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! :D

too bad i wasnt able to bring my cam that time but thanks to my classmate who took a picture of me using her phone! :D It meant a lot to me. :>

someone said: shared joy is double joy and shared sorrow is half the sorrow.. :>

relationships are treasures. When you talk to someone, you actually plant a seed in that person's life. What kind of seed are you planting in the hearts of people? is it confidence? peace? love? we simply reap what we sow in relationships.. when we sow love, we reap love, same with trust and many more. the question is, HOW CAN WE PLANT PEACE?
answer: YOU ONLY NEED WISDOM! we need to learn how to be wise in the way we treat other people. Education is different from wisdom. no matter how rich and educated you are, if your relationships are falling apart, you will always be miserable. WISDOM is a LIFESTYLE. WISDOM is CHARACTER. It creates HUMILITY. KNOWLEDGE causes PRIDE.

(read James 3:14-16)

Lack of wisdom causes problems. LOTS AND LOTS OF PROBLEMS.

James 3:17
--But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all PURE; then PEACE-LOVING, CONSIDERATE, SUBMISSIVE, FULL OF MERCY AND GOOD FRUIT, IMPARTIAL AND SINCERE.

CHARACTERISTICS OF A WISE PERSON

1. A wise person will not compromise his integrity
"But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all PURE". Trust is very fragile. Be trustworthy! Proverbs 10:9 says, "the man of integrity walks securely, but he who takes crooked path will be found out".. Preserve your integrity whether someone is watching or not. :)

2. A wise person will not antagonize the anger of others
Proverbs 20:3 -- It is to a man's honor to avoid strife, but every fool is quick to quarrel.

Avoid the following to avoid arguments:

• avoid comparing
• avoid condemning
• avoid contradicting

There are things that we can change, and some we cant, so for the things that we cant, it is best to accept them...^^

3. A wise person will not minimize the feelings of others
Be considerate! try to put your feet in people's shoes so you may be able to understand them! just try to listen to them and never judge, JUST ENCOURAGE THEM. :)
Proverbs 15:4 says, The tongue that brings healing is the tree of life, but a deceitful tongue crushes the spirit.

4. A wise person does not criticize the decisions or suggestions of others
--A wise person learns from everybody. Only God knows everything..^^
A close-minded person is not wise. If you are wise, you will be open to reasons.

5. A wise person will not emphasize the mistakes of others!
we should not stigmatize people. We must forgive, forget and move one! We should give people the chance to recover from sin. There is no sense in condemning one another. Condemning a person will never change him, but LOVE CHANGES EVERYTHING!

6. A wise person will not disguise his/her weakness
Everybody has their own weakness, and also failures. If you are smart, you are not a phony. God loves you for who you are and you should love one another for who they are.

At the end of the day, what matters most is relationship.. Nothing else. just remember,
YOU ARE WISE!

♥ fireflies' love story

haaaaaaaaaaa.... fireflies....^^ We have like billions of them on the island. I really love watching them specially when i'm at the beach and i see them flying all over the "talisay tree". They almost look like shooting stars. :>

i've watched a korean movie before and some girl there said that when fireflies find their true love, they feel like they're ready to die with the one they love, aint that sweet?^^ (one of the reasons why i love fireflies...^^)

Also, i have another story about fireflies. HAHAHA. One day when i was on the island. It was December 2009, i promised cub (my boyfriend) that when i get home to Iloilo i will give him some fireflies. So one night, i hunted (hunted?! hahahahahaha) for some fireflies and caught 4. I put them inside a bottle and i was very excited to give that bottle to cub. After like hours and hours of watching them, it was already 11:00pm, i felt veeeeeeeeeeeery guilty because i remembered that "fireflies' true love story" and realized: "oh my, i should give them the chance to find their one true love :c" so i just had to set them free..... :">

♥ hersheyyyyyyyyyy

everytime i remember hershey i really cant help but smile.. :> Hershey, by the way is a cat. She's not some ordinary cat that you just see everywhere, in a way she's kinda strange. Her left eye is green and right blue. aint that rad? aaaah, hershey.. you can never ever touch her, or even come near her. She's like a hermit crab --- so hard to catch and see it's real appearance or what's really inside that tiny lil' cat, hiding in some sort of coconut tree, only a lot bigger and has no coconut shells. whatever. hahaha. hershey's a wild cat. (she lives in the hills.) Everytime we're eating, she comes near the kitchen, hiding and peeping and waiting for some blessings. HAHAHA. luckily i managed to get a picture of her from a distance. Thanks to the power of zooming. nyahihahiha. I l o v e y o u h e r s h e y. :>

so i bought a vintage looking locket last week..^^ I think it's really really cute. I am soo into vintage pieces. specially real vintage stuff, not just vintage looking stuff. you know what I mean. but well, i can never find a real vintage locket so i settled to a vintage looking one then maybe someday, when i get really old, it's gonna be a real vintage piece and i will give it to my favorite grand daughter.. HAHAHAHA. :> so anyways i placed mine and cub's picture in that cutie locket that I bought and i bring it with me everyday.. I look at it almost every second then i imagine myself showing the locket to my grandchildren and could imagine them saying "wooow, you and lolo looked great during your days!". . HAHAHA. what the..

i know right? princessa tarhata kinda sounds lame but i dont care! HAHAHA. My grandfather calls me that since God knows when, so i'm kinda used to being called that when on the island, my home sweet home. oh and by the way princessa tarhata means FIGHTER PRINCESS. :> now the island, its the best place in the world! Its the place where the grass is as green as emerald, the sea as clear as crystal and you know, it's just bayuuuuuuuuutiful there! :> i grew up on that island so i knooooow. :D

*he calls me plum (this is according to him) because first of all, plum is my favorite color. He finds me extremely desirable and sweet like a raisin, a cake, a pudding, everything sweet. :P plus, the color of my hair is also plum. HAHAHAHA.

CUB

*actually i used to call him LION CUB but i thought it was really long so i settled to just calling him cub instead of lion cub. hihihi.^^ i first called him that when i realized that he was not the same person that he was before he met me. He used to be a really wild guy (like a lion) who's very hard to make friends with (or to tame. hahahaha), and yeah and he used to be a heart-breaker. but that changed when he met me and i introduced him to Jesus.. he transformed from a wild lion into a cute little cub....^^ awww...

i like the fact that we dont call each other babe, bhe, langga, pangga, mahal, sweety, honey, sugar, tart, asawa, bana, hubby, wifey etc. i just love it that you call me PLUM and i call you CUB.. not because it's only us who call each other that, but because of the reasons behind it.. haaa...
